God's Word is Our Map

In “God's Word is Our Map,” we are reminded that we are a people on the move, called to follow where God leads rather than chart our own way. As a church, we don’t wander with wishful thinking or cultural trends as our guide — we anchor our lives to a faithful God who has already marked the path before us. At the center of that guidance is His Word. The Bible is not just an ancient book of moral ideas, but a reliable, God-breathed testimony of who He is, what He has done, and how He leads His people. Historically consistent, prophetically fulfilled, and spiritually transformative, Scripture proves itself trustworthy as our true north in a shifting world. From the very beginning, God has directed His people through His Word, His Spirit, and His presence, inviting us to trust Him even when the road feels unclear. This message will call us to lay down our need for control, pick up obedience, and learn to walk in step with our Heavenly Guide. Because when God is our map, we don’t just find direction — we discover our identity, our purpose, and our mission as the people of Harbor: sent out to help others find and follow Jesus.
