We're Anchored Together

Feb 22, 2026    Mark Cress

In a world that pulls people apart, the early church shows us a better way — a life anchored together in Christ. They devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. They shared what they had, carried each other’s burdens, and worshiped with sincere hearts. Because they were anchored in Jesus and committed to one another, God formed them into a community that was unshakable and irresistibly alive.

This message reminds us that church is not a place we attend but a people we belong to. We are anchored together — united in truth, bound by love, and strengthened through shared life. As we gather, give, serve, and grow side by side, we become a living picture of the gospel, and God uses our unity to draw others into His family.
