The Commission
Before we talk about who we are, we have to remember why we’re here.
In The Commission, we go back to Jesus’ final words to His disciples and discover that the church was never meant to be a place we attend, but a people who are sent. Jesus calls us to go, not come — to move outward with the hope of the gospel. He calls us to disciple, not just convert — to walk with people into lifelong transformation, not settle for momentary decisions. He calls us to be for all, not just some — crossing boundaries of comfort, culture, and convenience with the love of Christ. And He calls us to obey, not just know — to build our lives on what He says, not just what we hear.
This message sets the foundation for our values, our mission, and our future. It reminds us that the church does not exist for itself, but for the world Jesus came to save. This is who we are. This is why we go. This is The Commission.
